Shoe party this week, friends! Two words: Swedish Hasbeens. Anyone who has seen my Pinterest boards knows I have been coveting Swedish Hasbeens like a proper fan of underground Australian TV shows! And we have TWO pairs of Hasbeens boots in the shop right now! Not at all my size (sniff), but someone is going to properly pee their pants when they see these beauties!
And another thing that is my favoutite: yellow footwear! Touches like the wide ankle strap and colour-lined cork keep these wedges from looking too vintage or costumey.
Flowers!
Here's one of those dresses that we saw in the back-room a few weeks ago! Simple scoop neck and a-line skirting, nothing too fancy in the structure so that the print remains the start of the show!
For obvious reasons I've been referring to this one as "The Bug Dress":
I love the playful leopard print on these no-nonsense, classy-lady boots!
Brand new too!
And here are the cousins of the Kenneth Cole boots: Kenneth Cole loafers with playful leopard print!
Out of the corner of your eye this baseball bomber jacket is a bit of a snoozer. But...look again!
Yes! It's a dog-print jacket! I mean, come on!!
Orange, friends!
Don't these read as vintage shoe-catalogue shoes to you?
I think we saw parts of this awesome Hell Bunny rockabilly dress in the back-room too. How perfect is this Day of the Dead print? And guess what? It's even NWT!
(Want more from this brand? Go visit our friends at Rowena on Whyte Ave!)
This tote is like an Ikea- Rorschach test. I see a dog, a lamp and a chair!
Simple summer Hush Puppies:
And look! At the back are these adorable bows!
Gravity Pope's minimalist take on the classic moto boot:
*Sigh*. Good-bye, Noul on Whyte. We promise to visit when we are in Vancouver. And you're always welcome in our shop!
These whimsical Nine West kitten-heels are just delightful!
Total meta-moment when I was photographing the bug dress:
