Here is the dress I will be wearing for New Year's Eve.....kidding! This dress is not made of jersey, nor does it have a tear in the crotch or an old dried up macaroni stuck to it (that's why they're called "macaroni pants", friends. Thanks Jason Kodie and Joe Bird!) like the sweat-pants I will actually be wearing on Dec 31. But in my head I will absolutely be wearing this fabulous dress:
When I saw this adorable red Kate Spade purse in the shop I -naturally- lost my marbles. I think I could probably have done the blog post with just a picture of this purse and nothing else! (No worries though, I wouldn't do that to you!). This one, the "Cedar Street Maise", hits all my personal imperative purse requirements: stands upright on its own (check!), large enough for my mom-wallet (check!!) and has little feet on the bottom (check!!!). Plus it's red!
I love how simple this black skater dress is....
...and look at the saucy sheer panels!
Yup, Coach knows how to keep it classy. I love simple totes like this, and that touch of gold on the hardware and embossing make it a real gown-up bag.
My keen Fluevogian eye tells me that the Fluevog on the left is from the either the Bankers family or the F-Shoe family. (My friends at Johnny Fluevog did not get back to me in time to confirm this one's name. Hopefully this will not keep anyone up at night except me!). The shoe on the left, which is also currently discontinued, is named Jules from the Adriana family.
Here's what the F-Shoe tells us:
And here is the message from the Jules shoe:
Thanks Fluevogs!
If a black tote is just not you, we've got you covered with this pretty canvas tote from Juicy Couture:
Love this LBD from another of my Canadian faves, Gentle Fawn!
Doesn't this Coach tote look like a really big version of the classic Chanel quilted purse?! I think that what's bringing a European/vintagey feel to this one. (I bet Karl Lagerfeld is pissed that he didn't think of this first! Ha!)
Belgian brand Kipling is keeping it real with this practical hand-bag.....
...and signature goofy monkey keychain!
Sale's on, friends! Come to the shop, buy some things and do some math!
Speaking of hairy monkeys (that we love and miss!), here's some more Joe Bird...
