Oooooo, it’s been so long, friends! I’ve missed you and can’t wait to hang out!

So guess what? It’s an Oak+Fort party again in the shop! And you know I like me a thing that looks like a labcoat, and Oak+Fort are so good at delivering that lab coat feel!

How’s the black showing up on your screen? Can you see the big, square pockets and covered button band? Total lab coat!

And a bit more Oak+Fort with these awesome high-waisted black denim pants.I cannot rock these, but I’m sure you can!

Friends, I almost breezed right past these. I first I was all “hmmmm, nice oxfords….” , then I was all “hmmm, great bone colour……”, and THEN I actually picked them up and I was all “OF COURSE!” because….they’re Fryes!

I loooooooooove these so much! The colour feels warm, and that patina is awesome!

And friends, I’m also crazy about this dress. CRAZY. It has a go-everywhere simplicity….

….but for me it’s the print that I love! Yes, it looks like vintage curtains (which I love) but there is something more about it that I can’t put my finger on.

Ok, but, ok, wait. I’m also crazy about this top too! Yes, it’s all about this amazing ballooney/cartooney print. But since the shape of the top is a bit boxy and the print has a nice cream background the overall look is still very grown-up.

Gah. I’m dying.

One more screen check: this perforated box-purse is more of a tomato red than orange. Turn locks might actually be my favourite hardware for purses!

Friends, I like rompers as much as the next person (which is EVERYONE), but for me I love when a romper is all romper while being elegant and adult-y. This one has dramatic wide legs….

….and the design elements across the upper body of the romper are well thought out like a LBD:

Even the tie around the back signal understated femininity!

Buuuuuuuuut, this one is even cooler than it seems because it has these cool elbow patches! I;m starting to think all denim tops should have denim elbow patches now!

Like the Fryes, I kinda breezed past these ones when suddenly I realized that these boots are from the future! Check out the spacey vented gussets!

I haven’t had the courage to remove all the top material. I’m hoping that the former owner covered this up because it was out of fashion (like when people put carpet over their hardwood floors!), but I am also very nervous that maybe there is something hiding underneath and if I remove the material I won’t be able to put it back! Eeeeeek!
