I am trying to WILL my feet to grow larger so they will fit the amazing shoes (in larger sizes, yo!) that we have in the shop right now, friends. Look, if it's cute enough, I will squeeze my foot into a 6.5...but I will also extend out as much as possible up to a 9! Because shoe sizes are only a suggestion, right?
I walked all around the shop in these wooden, Swedish-Hasbeen inspired Ecco sandals (size 9.5!) trying to convince myself that they were not too floppy on my feet. They were actually incredible comfortable, but I had to do the grown-up thing and release them back to the wild for another lucky person to scoop up.
Sam Edelman is one of my favourite shoe designers, especially for flats, like these elegant sandals:
This dress flew just under my radar this week, but when I came up from my shoe-haze I was all "Wait a minute....Could this be...Is it...?....Aha, yes!". This dress is lovingly hand-made, friends, and it is positively adorable!
Excellent construction on the seams, and great design details like the key-hole back!
Also a Red Pony fave, I love the demure, neutral colour of these Hispanitas and the under-stated details like the cut-out on the side and heel shape.
No matter how much we fret about it not happening, summer does come every single year. And you'll want to wear this awesome halter dress when it does!
Check out the lacing on the back:
A quick search on the label lead me to these very practical google-directions to the shop in Paris...
These beautiful and simple flat Roots boots:
I love the zipper up the back, and that there's a little button to fasten over the slider so that it doesn't get caught on your tights when you cross your legs (....and so you don't end up with identical holes in ALL your tights by the end of winter!).
Lovely mini from Oak+Fort:
How amazing are these Prada pumps?! They're not too sweet, and although they have all the characteristics of a classic pump, they read as mod and funky to me. I think it's the block heel and....
....the perfect, over-sized bows!
Divine little summer dress from Aritzia:
You know, I think we have a fairly steady rotation of Tory Burch flats that come through the shop, which is great. But how about sparkly Tory Burch flats?!
I couldn't let this Diane Von Furstenberg dress go by....it's silk!
Solid, go-anywhere espadrilles from Ugg:
And for even MORE super-comfort....Toms wedges!
Super-cute owl top:
I think these Ugg clogs will last you forever!
Remember this Tracy Reese dress with the navy slip from last week? It looks so pretty on this friend! We both noted that even with the crinoline, the dress is surprisingly not poofy. Our new friend will be wearing it to be in a bridal party (and many other fun times too!).
I'll be working in the shop on Sunday and Tuesday if you want to come and say hi!
