Who can resist this absolutely lovely wool caplet coat? It is the perfect cape shape, complete with actual sleeves and slit pockets in the front!
I'm a totally sucker for this kind of tweedy jacket in fall colours like green and brown:
Take a close look at these pink kitten heels....
...the bows and scallop details are printed on!
You know I love Gentle Fawn just for the name "Gentle Fawn". This jacket is perfect for a classy evening look. The front drapes amazingly....
...and check out the beautiful back!
Now that I have started wearing pants more often I've come to realise that what I don't like wearing is.... t-shirts! Possibly my entire past pant-aversion was based on my sub-conscious and erroneous belief that you had to wear a t-shirt with pants?! I have had this sudden realisation that non-t-shirts and blouses are the way to go to keep a pants-based outfit unique and interesting. Like this original yet simple and not-too-dressy French Connection top:
This dynamic little red purse from Geox is doing a great job expressing its personality with it's contrasting fold-over flap and playful tasselled zippers.
The pipe edging on this shirt keep it from being too pyjama-ish, and I'm loving the subtle and whimsical stars-and-flowers print!
(The stars and "swooshing" are my favourite!)
Retro-inspired wedges with a skinny ankle strap:
I tried on this structured dress from Oak+Fort for you; the silhouette is very modern, but the most interesting thing about this garment is the front seaming which make the dress look a bit like a very fashion-forward lab-coat. Laura (who takes the great pics for our Instagram) said it even looked good with the white converse I was wearing, so there is lots that you can do with this distinctive dress!
Lovely red vest with asymmetrical buttons:
This unique French skirt is a faux wrap, kerchief skirt with attached skirting interior. Plus it has pockets!
Isn't this such a pretty belt?!
There's a special treat this week, friends! When I came into the shop there were a bunch of garments waiting to be put out on the floor. They had been steamed, but not yet tagged (sorry, no prices on these ones yet), and there were so many great things about to come out that I had to share some of them with you! (It's like the backroom, but better!).
Ah, the magic of the red coat!
A gorgeous Topshop dress:
This skirt is perfect for the transition from summer to fall!
And look at the great bird print!
I love the understated asymmetry of this coat:
An elegant Loft 82 dress:
A couple of classy, light-weight jackets:
Another great Topshop top:
Super-soft sweater...
...with elephant print!
By the time you are reading this, these will all be tagged and on the floor waiting for you!
What are you wearing to work tomorrow? Here's some inspiration:
