In a random fit of tidying up we brought EVERYTHING that was in the backroom out onto the sales floor, which means, friends, that the shop is PACKED with so many amazing things!! (And also, the floor of the backroom is sparkly clean, which is rare and deserves celebration too, haha!)

Ok, eeeeeek, friends!!!!! The dress is by Preloved! When we last had Preloved in the shop (sometime before I started a new notebook, so I have no idea when that was because, well, I’m too lazy to grab the old notebook and check the dates!) I’m pretty sure we would have done a recap of why we love Preloved: Canadian, handmade and using reclaimed fabric so each piece is unique! But, friends, guess what? I have this dress!! Like, I have this one, but made of different fabrics, proving FOR REAL that each piece is truly unique! This design here is awesome, because it has a bit of a vintage feel (that gathered skirt), but it’s also very fashion-forward. And it has pockets, and these are all the reasons the we love Preloved!

It’s so fascinating and fun to explore Preloved’s construction and how they put certain patterns and fabrics together.

And check how even the lining has been selected in a contrasting material that works with the rest of the dress. That lining speaks to mindful quality craftship!

Even the pockets have been thoughtfully constructed with the same matching lining material!

And another standard Canadian -and, more importantly, local- fave: Workhall! Just a simple, black, ribbed, cold shoulder top.

Friends, you may need to close your office door, because you might be jumping out of your chair and screaming in one second. 3-2-1 Super mod, silver boots!!!

I mean, really, who is not freaking out about these right now??

And check out this symmetrical detailing on the upper! Ahhhh, sweet symmetry. I would spend all my time looking down at my feet if I had these boots!

Not a silver person? How about GOLD?! The simple shape of this dress reminds me of Carrie Bradshaw’s “naked" dress” that she wore on her first date with Mr Big (anyone with me?).

Friends, in my head I was calling these “Kennedy shoes” because this is totally the type of thing I think she would wear! (Go visit her at Red Pony on Mondays and Wednesdays to check out her style, and let me if I’m right!)

I think we all lost our marbles when we saw this transparent raincoat from outer space!

Friends, check it out, it’s a K-Way! But unlike my 1987 K-Way, it does not fold up into a its own pouch that you could also wear as a helpful fanny pack. Ha! It does, however, have this amazing neon-green throwback colour. I’m not joking, I think it’s a gorgeous piece!
