Well friends, obviously I love this dress, and long-time friends know why; does this dress look like it's from the future OR WHAT! I feel like we have to be careful with colour blocking because sometimes the combos can look a little cartoonish. But the combo of black and cream here is elegant and just bperfect! The boxy shape makes it look a bit more casual and like it doesn't take itself too seriously. And, oh yeah, it's from our fave, Oak+Fort!!
And can you see this zipper detail across the skirting? It's just there to be cool; it is completely non-functional as a zipper....keep being you, Oak+Fort!
This awesome raincoat from J Crew is not pretending to be something it's not, it is straight up just hangout, being a raincoat. Which you think could be boring, but....
...these saftey-hook clasps are just enough to punch it up! I love the contrast of the industrial rigging all glammed up in brushed gold! (The coat has a zipper too...they thought of everything!)
Look what I found in the mens' section? A Burberry shirt!
Adorable red Miz Mooz boots to carry us through the grueling last weeks of winter weather:
Just so much Kate Spade revolving through the shop lately, friends! This one still has its tags! I actually love the busy-ness of this print; the colours are easy to work with, and it's sophistiacted while also being distinctive.
Friends, I kept coming back to this top, there is something so feminine and breezy about it. I love the tunic shape...
...and these flowy trumpet sleeves!
And the print is gorgeous. All around, this one is mesmorizing and stunning!
Ok, here is one of my favourite tags this week:
And here's its linen dress (with pockets!):
Weeeeeeeeee, check out this awesome romper!!! I think this is the nicest one I've ever seen! The colour is elegant, the pleats give it some structure and the bishop sleeves remind everyone that you are still a grown up! This is something a contestant on The Bachelor would wear to a cocktail party to hang out with all her friends until a producer forces her to talk to the boring bachelor, amiright?
I don't think we've ever talk about this, but I am kinda a sucker for calf-hair hand-bags! This one is the Servant tote from Pour la Victoire! (Come to the shop and pet it!)
It's the little things here, friends! You know I enjoy a jockey cuff (because pants with jockey cuff possibly come from the future!) (I'm not even kidding, friends, this is the actual reason I like jockey cuffs), and that fuchsia drawstring totally makes me smile!
What else makes me smile? The tag!
More fuschia!
Lovely yellow top from Edmonton's-loss Loft 82. We'll never forget you, Loft 82!
This skirt is just too fun!
The backroom is getting so Spring-ey these days, and turnover in the shop is just bananas. I barely know where to look! I'll be in all day Saturday and Sunday again this weekend if you want to come say hi!
