Well friends, as many of you know, I like routine (just one of the many things that make me a VERY SPECIAL person!), so I am super pleased that this week things are finally settling down (read: kids back in school and out of my hair!) and we can resume our Wednesday routine!
There is something about this coat from Danish brand Soya Concepts that is a bit edgier than some of the other puffy, quilted jackets out there:
Soya Concepts jacket; Size XS, $62
This simple burgundy bag is a Furla tote! It has two large, open compartments and one zipped compartment, and comes with it's own dust bag (which is always welcome, and which always makes me feel like a proper adult who takes very good care of her things, as opposed to someone who crams new purses into the {purse} closet and hides them underneath all the other purses so that no one will notice that she bought yet another purse, and it doesn't even have a dust bag)!
Furla bag, $75
A great top from our friends down the street at Workhall. To me, this reads as a minimalist top with just a bit of punch!
Workhall top; Size L, $40
This Nanette Lepore faux-wrap sweater dress is made of merino wool (one of my favourite fibres! Soft yet strong and durable!).
Nanette Lepore dress; Size M, $42
And check out the delicate bead-work on the bust:
Miz Mooz with an exaggerated cone heel, multiple crossing straps and....little buttons!
Miz Mooz shoes; S7.5, $45
Do I need to point out that what I love about these Citizens of Humanity jeans (denim pants!) is the floral print?
Citizens of Humanity pants; S29, $36
Weeeeeeeeee! I love this adorable American Apparel blouse! Cream with tiny polka dots, bishop sleeves and, of course, the bow at the neck! It's so lovely, I just can't even!
American Apparel top; Size S, $24
Remember the leopard pumps I was crazy for last week? Here is their older sister: two-tone brogue, no-nonsense -yet unapologetically fierce- Stuart Weitzman you'll-have-them-forever shoes!
Stuart Weitzman shoes; S8, $62
This cropped sweatshirt is fancier than you expect.....
Won Hundred top; Size S/M, $22
....because the material is actually shiny silver!
It's not Wednesday without some Anthropologie:
Holding Horses dress; Size M, $38
Friends, you need to come in and see these awesome loafers in action. It seems like there is alot going on here (colour mosaic! White top! Silver contrasting!), but when worn these lovelies match a surprising amout of outfits (I saw them worn with a grey pencil skirt and grey tights!) and are no more over-the-top than your Miz Mooz. You are totally cool enough to pull these off!
Un Tour en Ville shoes; S7.5, $52
Our departed friends on the avenue, Loft 82 and Noul, live on at Red Pony:
Loft 82 cardigan; Size M, $36
Sure, it's a simple jersey skirt. But for Eileen Fisher lovers (like me! And you!), it is so much more!
Eileen Fisher skirt; Size M, $36
Friends, it's time to catch up for real! I will be in the shop ALL WEEKEND this weekend, so come by to say hi and we can have an in-depth conversation about all 8 of my New Years resolutions, why the lopi mittens I am knitting aren't working out and how we feel about Arie being The Bachelor!
And guess what's in the backroom? Spring!
