Here it is, friends! The Modcloth fave, Emily and Fin apple dress from the back-room last week! Apple print, pockets, vintage cut, key-hole back; this dress has it all!
Even though there is so much cool new stuff in the shop this week, my mind just keeps coming back to this gorgeous and flowy hi-low dress. The preppy collar and button down front make it a bit more dressed up (and less ethereal than most hi-low, flowy dresses)....
....it has this great cut-out in the back.....
....and I'm just loving the colours in this pattern, too!
Laser-cut Kenneth Cole wedges:
For my Desigual-loving friends out there! This dress is what I would call a perfect Roman Holiday dress: it's brushed cotton, with a brushed-cotton underlay which gives the skirting that extra bit of vintage-looking pouffiness!
In case you forget that it's Desigual:
Adorable embroidered jacket:
From one of our favourite Edmonton makers, this lovely Cinder+Smoke top:
This is obviously some sort of vintage material, and I'm thinking it might actually be made of vintage sheets or something??
I love the simplicity of these Rockport booties. Yes, they are exactly the same boot in two different colours!
Was it just last week that we were talking about my love of a splash of orange? To my point: this lovely geometric pattern with orange! Plus Cocolove make their clothing out of special ecological bamboo fibres, for fabric that is breathable, light and easy to wear.
So Mona-B is actually a brand that focuses on up-cycled canvas bags....and oh, yeah, they have an apparel line buried in there too!
I love the simplicity of this grey shift, but my favourite part is, of course, the studded collar!
I have such a loving soft spot for classic grannies like these ones by Clarks:
How strikingly gorgeous is this green kerchief dress?!
Loving the big, bold florals on this silk tunic!
Summer will come, friends! Start your day-dreaming with this awesome tank-top!
And to wrap up winter we are having a sale on our DeLux tuques and mittens: all 25% off!
Let's take a moment to appreciate the life-cycle of a Red Pony favorite....We peeked the Emily and Fin apple dress in the backroom last week, I memorialised it for the blog....and then it fulfilled its sartorial destiny when it got scooped up by a lovely Red Pony fan:
We love you, Emily and Fin apple dress, and wish you a long and happy life! And, hey, the cycle begins anew with all these great items waiting in the backroom right now!
