I have many thoughts about the fabulous Frye boots that we have in the shop now. Let's indulge me! Frye boots are almost mystical to me, because the company is so old and so specialised in making hard-working boots which have almost not even changed that much in style throughout the years. I wholeheartedly buy into this, that the company is making boots for the sake of BOOTS. Frye boots are built like a tank and will be classics for ever! In the shop right now is a pristine pair of the Natalie Mid-Engineer boot.
We also have some great Gravity Pope grannies in the shop! My shoe-heart is bursting!
I'm really loving this luscious, royal blue colour. This tunic is simple yet so elegant!
The back has a little keyhole as well!
From Vancouver designers Three Stones:
A classic leather purse by Roots:
Fabulous vintage find alert!!! These heart earrings feature the original screw-backs! You know what that means....fabulous vintage!!
I'm sure that, like me, you are also preparing your imaginary wardrobe for when Kate Middleton and William (can we call him Mr Middleton?! Ha!) come to visit. Surely you'll be invited for cocktails, and here is the dress you will wear:
The amazing pearl detailing and contrasting sleeves make this dress a stunner....
....and the exposed zipper in the back will signal to Kate Middleton that you know fashion but that don't take yourself too seriously and are the perfect candidate to be here best friend. (Yes, the zipper says all of that!)
Well, I've got to hand it to Gap on this one: they stepped outside of their typical comfort-zone of traditional silhouettes with this cocoon coat!
I love me a practical tote! This one is so simple, yet still unique with it's book-store-shopping-bag feel!
A couple of simple tunic-dresses from our friends at Noul. (Psst, the black one has pockets!)
This Kenneth Cole blazer is so feminine and elegant! It hangs so beautifully, and the cuffs keep it from being too stuffy. It should totally go into our hanging-with-Kate-Middleton wardrobe!
A sweet Gap tulip skirt...
...with a great layered hem!
Some perfect-for-autumn brown booties...
.....and a super-comfy, stretchy skirt:
Lena Dunham has earrings like this! The lager bauble is the backing and the smaller one goes in front.
I tried this coat on for you! The waist detailing is so flattering.....
.....and the bottom half of the coat looks like a pleated kerchief skirt!
New York designer Bettye Muller prides herself on making shoes that are as walkable as they are stylish. These leopard print booties have gold flecks in them!
Things look super exciting in the backroom again this week, friends!
What are you wearing to work tomorrow?
